Create New Delivery Order
When you want to manually add a delivery order from the POS APP, select the Delivery Icon.
This will open a New Delivery Order for you where you will want to select <Add Customer>.
If you can see the caller ID, you can start entering the phone number and the POS APP will list all partial matches.
If enabled, you could select the virtual keyboard and start entering the customers name.

If you get a match, you can select the customer name. If no match found you can <Add new Customer>.
Fill in any data that you need to set up your New Customer.
- First Name
- Last Name
- Phone : Note the country code and do NOT use a leading 0
- Card Number : this is NOT their credit card – it is an internal reference number that you should leave blank.
- Select a date : if you want to record hteir birth day
- Use the pull-down to add your new cuustomer to a CUSTOMER GROUP
- Address you will definitely want as you are doing a Delivery Order !
OscarPOS Cloud makes extensive use of Google APIs.
When you select <Address> you are presented with the above form.
Start typing the Customers delivery address and select the appropriate match.
You can then tweak it using the right hand boxes.
Don’t forget to press <OK> twice.
You will now have a new Delivery Order, prefilled with the Delivery Amount as well as showing the minimum sale value required as well as the free delivery sale value.
Add the ITEMS required by your Customer.
You can then press <NEXT> to adjust Delivery Time or add Order Comments or to use any Loyalty Points the Customer may have. If you press <Confirm> you can select the Payment Type as well as Change From Amount. The Delivery Order will appear in your ORDER LIST as Confirmed.
Select the Confirmed Order and press <Start>.
