WHERE : POS Application / Menu / Reservation
Overview
The POS APP is where you can manage reservations for your available resources. For simplicity, we are just going to call them tables, but as discussed they could be anything your mind can imagine they are.
Not all of your POS APPs may be enabled to manage Reservations.
View Reservations
Navigate to POS APP / Menu / Reservation
There are two views you can select from – List & Timeline. The one you choose should be which ever suits your style of business. Use the TAB at the top of the screen to switch between the two options.


For the rest of this topic, I am going to use Timeline view, but the steps are pretty much almost exactly the same if you prefer a List view.
As you can see, there are no bookings for this date for this floorplan. We can use < or > to scroll through the dates, or we could click on the date and get a calendar pop up. We can also select a different Floorplan.

Create a New Reservation
Navigate to POS APP / Menu / Reservation and select <New Reservation>.
Note that you could also click on <Vacant Time> or change the Floorplan or the date.
What options are required to allow you to <Confirm> will depend upon settings you have created in your BOM.
Date & Time

- Date : Enter or Select the required Date
- Time : Enter or select the required start time
- Duration : Select the required duration
Table

- Floorplans : Where more than one is available, select the one you want
- Tables : Select the table you want to reserve
Add Customer

- Start searching for a customer by partial name or number
- If no matches are found, you can always add a new one
Party Size

- Where enabled or required, set the party size ( aka Covers )
- Note that CONFIRM can now be selected
Comments

- Enter any comments that are relevant to this booking
Confirm Your New Reservation
- Don’t forget to press CONFIRM
Change a Reservation
Modifying an existing booking is as simple as
- Find and select the booking ( either from List or Timeline view )
- Select EDIT.
- Make your changes.
- Click on UPDATE.
Delete a Reservation
- Highlight the Reservation and select VOID.
