So you got this fantastic MOBILE APP that your customers can use to place orders, check out your promotions, leave feedback, receive push notifications, ….

Now you have to tell new and potential customers all about it and where to get it from.

You could print out a nice big long spiel, but who reads those !

Create a beautiful compact QR CODE that you can put on :

Determine the URLs to Your MOB APP

So you need some content to put into your QR Code.

As your MOB APP will be published on Google Play and in the Play Store, these are where this content comes from.

Let’s do this by example using Mouthful Duck in Ellenbrook WA.

Google Play for Android Devices

Go to Google Play Apps
Search for your MOB APP
Select your MOB APP

Highlight the URL and COPY it
Keep it in the clipboard or put into a text document to access later

App Store for Apple Devices

Go to the App Store
Search for your MOB APP
Select your MOB APP

Highlight the URL and COPY it
Keep it in the clipboard or put into a text document to access later

Create Your QR Code

At this stage, you COULD create 2 QR Codes … One for Google Play and one for the App Store. It is so much nicer to create a single QR Code, containing both URLS, that is smart enough to know which one to use.

For this to happen, it will need to be DYNAMIC, which means you need to sign up. See this article about Static or Dynamic QR Codes.

For this example, I will be creating a Dynamic one, using The QR Code Generator as I can sign in with my existing details.
